Improvising Melodies
with Caili O’Doherty
Improvisation is composition in slow motion. In these sessions, Caili will help you help you approach improvisation from a compositional lens while incorporating theory and improvisation techniques. We will analyze memorable melodies in the Great American Songbook repertoire and use those to guide us in creating our own.
