“This is the connection between technique and jazz expression I’ve been missing for a long time.”

-Richard F. (member since 2021)

Etudes aren’t just for classical players.

Hanon & Pischna, Phillips, and other classic etude books are great for building a solid foundation, but they omit some crucial technical challenges we face as jazz pianists.

With 27 Etudes designed specifically for jazz piano, Peter pushes you into the precise areas of technique that will skyrocket your growth – and open your ears to a world of possibilities.

BebopQuartalsBluesJazz ArpeggiosTriplets, and more — Peter’s step-by-step method will help you incorporate a variety of styles and concepts into your daily practice routine.

This isn’t simply a collection of licks, Peter’s 4 Key Principles for Daily Etude Practice will challenge you to get out of your comfort zone, play in your least favorite keys, feel the groove, and think like a jazz musician.
